THE FULL BACK STORY

I’ve come a long way from small-town, where I suffered from mosquitoes, humidity, and a desperate desire to live a better life free from my health challenges. Needless to say, I read a lot in those days and often composed wretched stories from my fantasies whenever I am left by myself.

Eventually, I went off to university, got a degree in Public administration, and thought I would devote my life to correcting the administrative ills and save the world from bureaucratic bottleneck. Working, took some of my time as well as sojourning to understand the world and taking time to self-develop in the act of script writing leading to various certifications from reputable film making bodies.

With no oceans nearby and a rather dissatisfying day job, I turned my attention to writing poetry for online platforms. 2015 saw me writing my debut drama, A Cobbler’s Travail” published by Norridge/Winepress, which some people called a “masterpiece” and later went to win Association of Nigeria Authors prize for drama and can be find both in online stores and bookshops.

Oh yes, I also clearly have a problem), and — of course — reading. Religious, fiction, fantasy, literary — all genres are consumed with enthusiasm. Oh, I take pride in eating anything that is African which is well cooked. Without being a gluton. I consume them with enthusiasm, too.
