About the Book

Set in the creeks of the Niger-Delta, South-South Nigeria, the story focuses on DELANO a special US forces Marine, employed for a straight forward job (or so he thought) but finding himself caught in the midst of a raging feud between the tripartite force of the Nigerian Government, the oil cartels and militants within the Niger Delta region.
This historic fictional drama is packed full with suspense, intrigue and betrayal centers on the insurgency prevalent in the creeks presumably perpetuated by militants bent on making life difficult for the oil cartels. In an unlikely response to these militant activities, the oil cartels enlisted the services of KIDDO to kidnap a US envoy as a trumped up charge against these militant groups fighting for the liberation of their lands.

The inability of the Government to negotiate the release of the kidnapped Envoy as agreed by the two countries saw the state department promptly send one of its best Marine Officer DELANO MARTIN to assist in the rescue of the Envoy. Assisted by the officers of the Nigerian Police force who were already compromised by the oil cartels, his task became an upheaval one as he was immediately set up for the killing of a girl by those who felt he was a threat to their business...
